We are dedicated to breeding healthy and well-balanced Whoodles. We utilize the Puppy Culture method of early socialization for our puppies. Our dogs are part of our family and raised in our home. We are located north of Austin.

Our Story

After years of owning Miniature Poodles, we decided we wanted a medium size dog to join our family. We tried to find an energetic, friendly breed that was also low to non-shedding like our Poodles. When we met Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers at a local AKC show, we immediately fell in love. We knew we had to have a Wheaten Terrier! After showing our Wheaten for a couple of years, we decided it would be great if we could have a cross between a Wheaten Terrier and a Poodle. A Whoodle! In 2016 we had our first litter of Whoodles. These happy and gentle dogs make the perfect family pets!

What is a Whoodle?

A Whoodle is a cross between a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier and a Poodle. Whoodles tend to be very affectionate and friendly like the Wheaten Terrier, and intelligent and playful like the Poodle. Whoodles coat types range from straight, loose wave/shaggy to curly. Both Wheaten Terriers and Poodles are low to non-shedding; therefore most Whoodles do not shed. Whoodles are usually an excellent choice for people with allergies. Our Mini Whoodles typically mature to be 25-30 pounds. Whoodles come in a variety of colors and markings. They love to run and play, and some also enjoy swimming and retrieving like the Poodle. Whoodles are happy, loving, goofy, cuddly and friendly making them excellent family pets!
